Sealark was built in 1920 by John Crossfield & Co, Bangor. She was owned by Epps family from 1961 to 2016 after being given to John by his Father, Jack, for his 21st birthday present. Following John’s death in 2016 she was bought from John’s widow Ann by the Royle & Thomas Families.
Word on the street has it that when Jack Epps bought her in 1961, the deal was done in the bar of the Ravenspoint Hotel, with the price agreed at 500 pounds, to include a long-shank Seagull outboard.
